GCMS Rewards Students Who Meet Homework Goals

Each quarter, teachers at the three grade levels reward students for homework completions with a ZAP (Zeros Aren't Permitted) Party.  Students who meet homework goals are rewarded with the opportunity to participate in group activities related to units previously studied or the time of year.

Students who did not meet homework goals for the grading period are given the opportunity to make up incomplete assignments and are taught methods to improve organizational skills either prior to or during the event.  Hopefully, they will be a part of the next  ZAP party!

ZAP Parties are

•held at the end of each quarter

•held during the last periods of the day

•usually take the place of electives and or explorations classes
